Inland Empire AHEC is currently funded through the state and is housed the Community Clinic Association of San Bernardino County (CCASBC). CCASBC is committed to AHEC's mission of improving access to quality healthcare for underserved populations through academic and community partnerships in the Inland Empire. The Inland Empire AHEC collaborates with partners to provide education and multi-disciplinary trainings in order to help address regional workforce issues.

The Community Clinic Association of San Bernardino County (CCASBC) is a non-profit association that supports clinical and community-based organizations in the Inland Empire. CCASBC provides advocacy, public policy promotion, and education, as well as resources to strengthen the provision of primary and specialty care services throughout the region.

 

The association was founded in 2009, incorporated in 2010, and designated as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization in 2011. CCASBC’s mission is to build an effective, county-wide association of community clinics that efficiently deliver culturally appropriate quality healthcare to the medically indigent, underserved, uninsured, and/or underinsured. CCASBC currently supports 21 community-based organizations, representing 43 primary care clinical sites throughout San Bernardino County and Riverside County.
